Mediterranean music ensembles is a projects builded up by isabella Ruggiero, during the last few years, in order to bring together musicians and dancers from different parts of the Mediterranean.

Isabella Ruggiero brought together, in March 2013, a top level folk musicians so as Midou Akhrif, Vincenzo Castellana e Luciano Maio, founding a project called Luciano Maio quartet, who combines sounds of the traditional folk repertoire from south of Italy, Morocco, Egypt & Lebanon, interpreted by her dance pieces.
